Executive Protection (24 Hrs) $150

This class will cover organization of a protection detail, surveillance detection and counter measures, protective formations and tactics and motorcade operations.  The class will include practical exercises.  Students will need appropriate clothing for a live practical exercise in and around Tuscaloosa.  11/15-17/10

Clothing and necessary equipment:

Day 1: Business casual clothing appropriate for a classroom setting.

Day 2: Range appropriate clothing(to include cold weather and/or raingear if necessary).
             Duty weapon, concealment/investigative style holster (hip or shoulder only, no ankle holsters),
             300 rounds of ammunition, appropriate secondary magazine and carrier, handcuffs & small light.
             NOTE: If you are attending the class and your agency does not typically work armed, accomodations will be made for you.
             Ammunition will be available for purchase through the academy.

Day 3: Clothing appropriate for practical exercise in public that would conceal your duty weapon as you would practically wear it.
             Example:  Collared shirt & blazer, suit or appopriate untucked shirt that conceals profile of weapon.
